In the heart of Granada's old town
Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a charming boutique hotel located in one of the most privileged corners of Granada, at the foot of the Alhambra. It is located in what used to be the Casa de los Migueletes, a 16th-century building located in the heart of Granada’s old town; one of the gems within the famous Albaicín neighbourhood.
Its location is ideal for walking to the most emblematic monuments of the city and its most important points of interest, such as the flamenco museums, theatres and tablaos or the Cathedral.
We are in the tapas bars and traditional restaurants epicentre, a few metres from the shopping area where you can enjoy a day of shopping. We are also conveniently connected both by public transport and by highway, plane and train.
If you are thinking about travelling by car, the hotel does not have private parking, but there are several indoor public parking options nearby.
Granada

- International Comic Exhibition of Granada, which was first held in 1994. For one week, people from around the country are interspersed with European, American and Asian authors.
- International Tango Festival of Granada, one of the largest festivals devoted to this dance in Europe.
- Young Filmmakers International Festival of Granada, attracting actors and Film directors from Spain and various other countries from around the world. Festival of Granada Cines del Sur, a festival dedicated to the film industry emerging in Asia, South America and Africa, with outdoor screenings in several public spaces of Granada.
- Granada Cines del Sur Festival, dedicated to the emerging cinematographies of Asia, South America and Africa, with open-air screenings in various public spaces in Granada.
- International Festival of Jazz of Granada, one of the most important and oldest festivals in Europe dedicated to this genre.
Gastronomy
The gastronomy of Granada is characterised by a wide range of flavours and by the richness and variety of its preparations, in which the typical tapas play an important role.
Gazpachos, tortillas, migas or pipirrana are just some of the most famous dishes of the area, which brings together the best of the Mediterranean diet with some influences from its Arab past.
This richness and variety makes the terraces, tapas bars and restaurants one of the tourist attractions of the city, which also has a rich offer of establishments dedicated to national and international cuisine.
