Lovely hotel, perfect location. Very good breakfast in a lovely setting within an internal courtyard. Complimentary afternoon tea is a bonus. Has set a standard that we now are looking for in other hotels. Will definitely return to stay here again. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

We had a lovely stay. The room was very nice but we had to open the windows to cool off the room. The breakfast was very good and the afternoon tea was a special treat. The staff at the hotel were all terrific and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and directions to get around the city.

Such a great experience to have stayed in Hotel Casa 1800 Granada. Despite having to walk through the alley, you will be rewarded and greeted with a beautiful structure of the premise, especially the courtyard area where afternoon tea and morning breakfast are served. The front desk officers and other staffs are very helpful and polite. We are intrigued with the interior decoration of the room as it is furnished with vintage furniture. Highly recommended to stay in Hotel Casa 1800 Granada when you visit Granada.

Hotel Casa is a lovely comfortable hotel in the Old Town. This is an individual hotel oozing Spanish atmosphere and history. It is sympathetically decorated and furnished accordingly. The staff are very professional and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely with quality bedding, towels and toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are provided and an excellent hairdryer, not the usual poor quality found in chain hotels. The buffet breakfast has lots to choose from including fruits, cereals, yoghurts, breads, croissants, a pod coffee machine, spanish cold meats and cheeses and scrambled eggs and bacon. Afternoon tea is also provided, sandwiches and cakes giving sustenance until the evening's tapas offerings in Granada. The hotel is traditional spanish design with a central courtyard, so the bedroom window opened into the courtyard. There is no view due to its location in the winding alleys of the old town but its close location to the Alhambra and wonderful tapas bars nearby more than make up for this. The hotel is in the Albaicin area which is UNESCO protected and cars are not allowed. We followed the hotel's instructions and left the car in the designated car park in Granada and took a taxi to the hotel cost 6€. There is a taxi rank with a line of taxis waiting for customers. We didn't need the car again for the rest of our stay. Would definitely go back again.

With my mother and my husband, I stayed 4 nights in this splendid hotel Feb 20 to Feb 24 2018. It was very pleasant and fascinating, in every detail. Hotel Casa 1800 is a XVI century palatial house, meticulously restored by world famous architect Carlos Sanchez, a master in the art of capturing the essence of Arab and Andalusi architecture. Casa 1800 is extraordinarily well located, at the edge of Albaicin, a Unesco World Heritage neighborhood. From this hotel you can walk to most of the interesting places in Granada. Both Granada and Casa 1800 are magical places, where you feel transported back to the past. I have visited Granada many times since the late 80's and very few things have changed. Time stands still in this charming, ancient city. It is a pleasure to have breakfast in the patio of this almost 500-year old hotel, with the whisper of running water in the stone fountain and the periodic toll of nearby church bells. Walk outside and marvel at the narrow street where the hotel is located. Walk a minute longer and admire the Darro river flowing at the foot of the mountain whose summit is occupied by the Alhambra citadel. Follow the river upstream, look up every few meters and see the Alhambra watching you. Regardless of how many countries a traveler knows, visiting Granada and choosing Casa 1800 is guaranteed to be a pleasant, unique and unforgettable experience. The rooms are exquisite and cozy, with

We found this charming hotel by searching on the internet. It exceeded our expectations in all respects: we had a delightful room, the personnel at reception were particularly helpful, breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. The reception personnel advised us where to eat and made the reservations for us (including at a restaurant with an excellent view of the Alhambra), and helped us with our luggage. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Granada.

Loved staying at Casa 1800 during my birthday long weekend in Granada. It's a boutique hotel at the bottom of the Albaicin, near all the main sights and a short but steep walk up to the Alhambra. I had a junior suite, which was spacious with a huge bed and flash bathroom. The noise level was a bit much though as it looks out into the courtyard so recommend earplugs. As well as an extensive breakfast, they offer free afternoon tea from 4.30pm in the central courtyard- hot chocolate & tea, rolls, pastries, doughnuts - such a treat. There's a fridge with bottles of water that you can help yourself from at any time and free international newspapers. Staff were friendly and professional, and nothing seemed to much for them. I'd happily stay here again

We loved the understated elegance of the Hotel Casa 1800 and the hotel's respect for the historic character of the old building. Along with the great breakfasts, super comfortable beds, friendly & helpful reception staff and the free afternoon refreshments (much appreciated!), this was a hotel that we very much looked forward to returning to after long days of sightseeing. Well done Hotel Casa 1800, and we hope to enjoy your facilities again in the future!

Great hotel, outstanding services, helping you to find the best place which will fit yours expectations. Breakfast very good, quality of food, tea and coffee. The 4h30 tea party is very good idea, as well as having bottles of water or Coca-Cola available all the day... really appreciated. Rooms at floor level can be a challenge with people in the break area. The hotel is close to everything, not possible to access by car, short walk...
